The Cyberbox Project

American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York are partnering on a mission trip to Nicaragua to install a Cyberbox-a shipping container being converted into a computer lab/library.

The trip also includes activities to benefit the community.



How to Help

Material donations are being requested for the community projects as well as monetary gifts to  construct the Cyberbox. To donate monetarily toward the lab/library mark you offering check and envelope with "Cyberbox" and place it in the offering plate. If you would like to donate toward the projects being prepared, check the list below. Bring in your donations to the church and place them in the specially-marked box in the lobby.


Donations including:

  • Travel-sized toothpaste
  • Children's toothbrushes
  • Travel Shampoo
  • Combs
  • Shower sponges/scrubbies
  • Individual Soups
  • Small Towels
  • Glue guns
  • Glue sticks
  • Tacky Glue
  • Velcro dots or strips
  • Glue-on Gem Stones
  • Different colored felt shapes or patches
  • Clean, unused nylon stockings

Other Missions

This will be the third trip members of FBC Lancaster has taken to do mission work in Nicaragua. Previous trips centered around installing water filtration systems in remote communities to provide clean drinking water.
